James R. Hienton
Jim has successfully helped his clients with their business and tax needs over the course of his legal career. To best serve his substantial client base, Jim has focused his practice on the mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions of businesses; the formation and structuring of business entitites; complex commercial transactions; and providing corporate and business advice.
In addition to his business and finance practice, Jim is a certified tax specialist with the Arizona State Bar Association. This specialty has enabled Jim to provide the optimum counsel to clients in relation to their business and legal needs. Among those who have benefited from Jim’s experience are auto dealerships, financial institutions, and rental equipment companies, to name a few.
Jim’s practice also extends to estate planning and working with non-profit organizations. His knowledge as a certied tax specialist has allowed him to help clients structure their estate plans or non-profit organizations to their maximum benefit.*
Jim received his L.L.M. from Washington University College of Law, and his MBA and J.D. degrees from Arizona State University College of Law. He was his B.A. from the University of Arizona with High Distinction.
Jim has lent his time to several community associations, including Valley Leadership and the Arizona Theatre Company.
